1. How is my Personal Tax Identification Number (TIN) updated when joining Saladin Pro?

  • Effective July 1, 2025, the personal identification number (12 digits on the Citizen ID / CCCD) is used to replace the personal tax identification number.
  • When signing the Collaborator Contract, Saladin will default to using your Citizen ID number instead of the old TIN.
  • After the contract is signed, Saladin will look up the taxpayer information and notify you if you need to update or register your TIN.

2. What should I do if my Citizen ID number is not linked to a Tax Identification Number?

You can check it yourself at tracuunnt.gdt.gov.vn/tcnnt/mstcn.jsp and handle it according to the following cases:

  • If you already have an old TIN (10 digits): You need to update your Citizen ID information to the old TIN via the eTax Mobile app.
  • If you have never had a TIN: You need to register for a new TIN (the TIN after registration will be your Citizen ID number). You can manually register on eTax Mobile or sign a power of attorney for Saladin to register on your behalf.
  • Important note: You must be certain which case applies to you before authorizing Saladin, because if you already have an old TIN but request a new registration, it will prolong the tax authority's processing time.

3. What do I need to do to update my TIN to my Citizen ID number on eTax Mobile?

In case you do not have an account on thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn: the collaborator needs to contact the tax authority.

In case you already have an account on thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn: the collaborator can proceed with the update following these steps:

  • Step 1 - Retrieve password (skip if you can currently log into eTax Mobile):
    • Go to canhan.gdt.gov.vn and select "Log in with electronic tax account" (Đăng nhập bằng tài khoản thuế điện tử).
    • Enter the old TIN (10 digits) and the verification code -> Continue -> select "Retrieve password", enter the TIN, new password, phone number, and verification code.
    • Enter the OTP sent to your registered email/phone number -> log in again using the old TIN and the new password.
  • Step 2 - Update Citizen ID:
    • Log into eTax Mobile, go to "Tax registration" -> "Change tax registration information".
    • Select "Get citizen information" -> the system will automatically display your name, date of birth, and old document number.
    • Select the information to edit, including "Personal identification documents" -> enter the OTP to complete.

4. What is the regulation on Personal Income Tax (PIT) deduction for my income?

  • The collaborator's remuneration is considered irregular income. According to regulations, starting from the 2026 tax period, irregular income of 5,000,000 VND or more per payout will be subject to a 10% tax deduction before payment.
  • For manual payments (paid on T+10): A 10% deduction rate applies to payments of 5,000,000 VND or more per payout.
  • For immediate payments or system payments: A 10% deduction rate applies to all immediate payments.

5. How can I receive a PIT deduction receipt for tax finalization?

  • When you have income at Saladin and need a receipt, you must register via the "Receive tax deduction receipt" form using the link Saladin will announce each period.
  • Saladin will process and send the receipt to the email address you provided in the form.
  • Please note to enter the information accurately and submit it promptly upon notification to receive the receipt on time.

6. What do I need to do to change the email for receiving personal income tax finalization receipts?

For personal information security reasons, Saladin applies the following process for collaborators who wish to change their email for receiving personal income tax finalization receipts (According to Notice No. 02/TB-Pro.10X dated April 23, 2026):

  • Use the phone number registered with your Saladin Pro account to send an SMS to Saladin's collaborator support number at 0931 519 308. The message format is as follows:

Request to change email for receiving PIT deduction receipt – [Collaborator's full name] - Collaborator ID [xxx] - Collaborator Name [yyy] - Original registered email [zzz].

I request Saladin to send the PIT deduction receipt for the year 202x to the following new email [xxx@yyymail.com].

  • Use the new email itself to send an email to cs@saladin.vn, attaching photos of both sides of your Citizen ID (template in Appendix B). After valid verification, Saladin will send the receipt to the new email.
    • Subject: Request to change email for receiving PIT deduction receipt – [Collaborator's full name]
    • Content: Collaborator ID [xxx] - Collaborator Name [yyy] - Original registered email [zzz]. I request Saladin to send the PIT deduction receipt for the year 202x to the following new email [xxx@yyymail.com].
    • o    Attachment: Photos of both sides of your Citizen ID
