3. Notes on cases of temporary suspension of remuneration payments and other notice

3.1 Temporary suspension of remuneration payments for newly registered Affiliates

Upon the completion of a new collaborator contract signing, remuneration payments, including both instant and periodic payments, will be temporarily suspended so that Saladin can conduct a personal income tax (PIT) number check.

Effective July 1, 2025, the personal identification number (Citizen ID / CCCD number) is used in place of the PIT number. When signing the collaborator contract, Saladin defaults to using the Citizen ID number instead of the old TIN. After signing, Saladin will look up the taxpayer's information and notify the collaborator if an update or registration is required.

(Collaborators can also manually check the status of updating their PIT number to the identification number by visiting tracuunnt.gdt.gov.vn/tcnnt/mstcn.jsp → entering the Citizen ID number in the “Tax Identification Number” box → entering the confirmation code → clicking Look up.)

Depending on the lookup results, the unblocking process will be handled as follows

  • If the lookup results show taxpayer information: Saladin will proceed to unblock the remuneration calculation for the collaborator.
  • If the lookup results do not find taxpayer information: Saladin will notify the collaborator to update their PIT numberor register for a new PIT number.
    • In case the collaborator already has a PIT number (but it has not been updated to the Citizen ID number), the collaborator needs to update their PIT number to the Citizen ID number on eTax Mobile.
    • In case the collaborator has never had a PIT number, the collaborator needs to register for a PIT number on eTax Mobile, or sign a power of attorney for Saladin to assist with the registration on their behalf.

After the collaborator completes updating or registering their PIT number, Saladin will verify the information and unblock the remuneration payments for the collaborator.

The unblocking of remuneration payments will be executed within 48 hours from the date the collaborator completes signing the contract or from the time the updated/newly registered PIT number is received.

3.2 Other cases of temporary suspension of remuneration payments

In addition to the temporary suspension for updating the TIN, Saladin may also temporarily suspend remuneration payments to collaborators in the following cases:

  • Incorrect bank account information: payments cannot be processed due to discrepancies in the account number, account name, or any other account details.
  • The bank account holder's information does not match the Collaborator's name declared in the collaborator Contract.
  • The bank account belongs to the list of banks not yet supported for payments.
  • The collaborator is under 18 years old.

When all the information is completely valid, Saladin will unblock the payment no later than 48 working hours from the time the contract is completed.
